About
Hi! I'm Stephanie...
A dedicated therapist, clinical supervisor, and lifelong learner, passionate about guiding others on their healing journey. Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), with a strong academic foundation—a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University.

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in outpatient substance abuse counseling, crisis intervention, and in-community therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. My expertise includes crisis management, individual and group counseling, addiction recovery, trauma processing, and clinical supervision. I take pride in not only helping clients heal but also supporting other clinicians in strengthening their skills, navigating countertransference, and processing the emotional weight of this field.

I created this space because I wanted therapy to be real, honest, and transformative. My own journey—through trauma, personal therapy, and exploring both Western medicine and holistic approaches—taught me that true healing requires deep connection and radical honesty. In supervision and in practice, I noticed we often dance around the truth, avoiding the discomfort that leads to real change. My goal is to bring a fresh perspective to traditional therapy, offering a space where individuals can explore what they’re still searching for.

My blog offers a glimpse into my personal journey, sharing the experiences and insights that have shaped my path and inspired the creation of this space. Through my stories and reflections, I hope to offer a deeper understanding of the values that guide my work and the genuine passion behind my mission to help others heal and grow. It’s a place for connection, reflection, and inspiration, where I invite you to join me on this ongoing journey.

I created these educational workshops to provide a safe, supportive space where individuals can learn about mental health diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment options without the confusion or negative stigma often influenced by society. My goal is to offer clear, accessible information that empowers people to better understand their mental health and make informed decisions about their well-being. These workshops are designed to promote healing, awareness, and compassion, free from judgment or misunderstanding.

I created these concentrated classes to offer a supportive group setting where individuals can exchange experiences, share success stories, and find connection during difficult times. These weekly classes dive deeper into specific challenges, providing valuable education and practical suggestions to help alleviate hardship. They are ideal for those who have a basic understanding of their situation, feel that their current therapy efforts aren’t yielding results, or are seeking a safe and supportive space for the first time. Through these classes, participants can find the support and tools they need to move forward with confidence and healing.

I created these professional development opportunities to offer additional supervision and guidance for mental health professionals navigating the unique challenges of the field. Available through weekly group sessions or individual appointments, these sessions provide a safe space to debrief the unspoken struggles of the helping profession, including burnout, workplace challenges, and personal countertransference. Whether you're looking to explore your motivation to stay in the field, improve your work-life balance, or have another outlet than your spouse, these sessions are designed to support your personal and professional well-being, helping you thrive in the work that you do.
